Harman's North Fork Cottages

Harman’s Luxury Log Cabins are located on the banks of a private access trophy trout stream in Hopeville Canyon, West Virginia. Nestled in the foothills of the Dolly Sods Wilderness, this lodging location offers access to outdoor activities such as trout fishing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, canoeing, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, skiing, golfing, hunting and wildlife viewing.

Harman’s riverside luxury log cabins are available year-round. Each of these riverside WV rental cabins is less than 300 feet from the North Fork River. A view of the river is directly off the porch of each cabin. The private access stream is managed for catch and release trophy trout. The 1 ¾ miles of private access stream provides anglers with the opportunity to fish for rainbow, brown trout, brook, tiger and golden trout, which are measured in pounds rather than inches. Harman’s management plan has been developed with years of experience to provide an optimum fly fishing adventure. While many successful days on the water result from trips at our stream, the fish are certainly not pushovers.

We have customers from all over the world visit our stream on a regular basis and many of our customers find one trip a year is simply, not enough.

The Fly Shop (Redding, CA)

“Here at The Fly Shop®, it’s always been about people. Since April of 1978, I’ve worked to surround myself with the most talented staff, the best products, and the finest angling travel destinations in fly fishing. Along the way, most of our customers became our friends. Everybody says they’re the best, but my people have been proving it since our doors opened. And after 30+ years our reputation says it for us.” – Owner, Mike Michalak

Over time, The Fly Shop® has fortunately attracted the employment of some of the best talent in the West. Much of our success is due to these honest and loyal employees. Since the second year of the company’s existence, Mike Mercer has been the owner’s right hand man. Pat Pendergast, who has worked for The Fly Shop for more than 15 years, manages our travel department. Zack Thurman oversees our inventory while Nick Fasiano supervises our International School of Fly Fishing, Kidscamp, and Northern California guide service. The Blue Bonefish

We have been outfitting and hosting trips to amazing saltwater destinations for over 2 decades. When we made the decision to operate our own Caribbean lodge, we began searching for the perfect location. We wanted a lodge that was far enough south to avoid most of the adverse effects of the relentless winter cold fronts that so often plague south Florida and the Bahamas, but that offered the same sort of amazing sight fishing opportunities that these great fisheries provide.

What we found was paradise, facing the second largest barrier reef in the world and only 4 miles south of San Pedro, Belize.

Crazy Rainbow

Private River Access Means No Crowds

Your fly fishing trip with Crazy Rainbow will be a classic western fly fishing experience. The North Platte River of Wyoming still displays the scenic beauty and solitude a true sportsman or woman appreciates

Along with the panoramic views, amazing wild trout fisheries, and no crowds, Crazy Rainbow has unique advantages compared to most fly fishing outfitters in the area. Due to land ownership laws, stream fishing in Wyoming is different from some of our neighbor states. In Wyoming, the land owner owns the stream bottom and public wade fishing, or boat anchoring, adjacent to private land is not allowed.

Crazy Rainbow owns private lands along eight miles of the North Platte just below the Grey Reef Dam. The Grey Reef tailwaters are well known for their excellent trout habitat and production of trophy fish. The high quality natural resources, combined with Crazy Rainbow’s private access, results in unsurpassed fly fishing opportunities.
